• “S-shin…Please…please don’t do this to me…” I heard her cry her heart out in the darkness I was surrounded in, how did I get here? Where was this place? I didn’t care about these questions, my only focus was on this woman’s voice coming from above. The heavy dosage of pain that streamed in her voice wrenched my heart for some reason. I didn’t know why but I felt that her pain was also my burden to share. She was an overly familiar voice and in a way, I felt a warm bond as if I’ve had a long and deep history with whoever this lady is.
