• “He is not all that bad, Mrs. Kimberly,” I uttered. “He might have his shortcomings but we’ll pull through together. I’m willing to take that chance with him,” I asserted with a proud smile at his mother’s grave. “I’m not going to give up on being the perfect wife too.”
• Seeing Shin brought to tears reminded me of my father when he had gotten into an accident. I understood his pain. I would have loved to meet his mother if she were still alive. I would have told her about how much her son could be annoying but sweet too. He can be so intentional and loving without knowing. He was someone who gave me so much joy easily.
