• “Rachel Brown,” I mumbled to myself in the study room seated before my monitor watching the reporter talk nonsense about Sierra. Of course, in a scandal like this, there were bound to be harsh takes and criticisms but this lady in particular was certainly doing the most.
• I heaved a deep sigh as I laid back on my swivel. If I was this enraged I wondered how Sierra must be feeling right now. Tonight, I saw it all. How hurt and depressed she was and yet she still tried to mask these feelings. I checked the time on the screen and it was past one. I should be sleeping after all the trial was coming up in some hours but how could I with so many thoughts burdening my mind? I doubted Sierra was asleep too. She usually has problems sleeping sometimes and tonight could be one of those nights.
