- I sighed as I stood before my full-length mirror reflecting my cream shirt on a red suit, cream heels, and a tiny gold necklace. Usually, I would take my time to enjoy the allure of my outfit but I couldn’t find that joy. A lot had been going on since the news surrounding Triad Pharmaceuticals but amidst all these dramas the one person I was worried about was Shin. I wondered how he had been dealing with the news and I was especially curious about what went down at the family meeting. He looked so burdened when he returned home last night.
- A part of me felt guilty and even though I continually convinced myself that I was doing the right thing, it wasn’t enough to clean the guilt off my chest. As much as I tried to shy away from it, the ugly truth was that my work had directly attacked him and his family.
