• I thought back on what Doctor Fanny had said as we took Leonie back to the palace. I had to find a way to make Tina bend to my rules. Though she was my personal maid, I knew how stubborn she was when it came to making her own decisions in respect of my son.
• But, I could guilt trip her. I was sad that I had confided in her in the first place about the things that were going on between Leonie and Gunnolf. Yes, I had not told her about the mating bond, but she knew almost all there was to know about them that was adequate, and what it had meant to me, yet she had so much pleasure in torturing Leonie.
• I sighed as we pulled to a halt in front of the mansion. The guards tried to get Leonie to wake up but to no avail. I sighed as I touched her locs. I was going to make sure that Gunnolf gave you your right no matter what it takes.
