• I picked at my meat as I listened to Leonie talk animatedly about her story. It gave me much pleasure that she had become so animated in the dinning area. It was a pity that mother didn’t deem it fit to join us at all. It was evident that she had being doing that in a bid to make everything look good, and it upset me a bit. I didn’t know what I could do to make her do things normally.
