• Even though she told him no multiple times, he still drove her to a phone shop to get a new cell phone. However, she was able to get him to let her pay for it even though doing so cut her budget for the month by more than half. She hasn’t spent so much money since over a month ago because she had been living with Keira so it didn’t affect her all that much. She knew now that Luciano was in the picture, he would want them to do things together with him taking a major part of it but she didn’t want to depend on him just because he happened to be there. Her original goal had been to raise her kids herself. Now that a father was in the picture too, that doesn’t mean she would become lazy and depend totally on him.
• They were just going back to Keira’s house because he got a call while they were on the way to get her phone and he had to attend an emergency meeting that he couldn’t turn down. She waited for him in the car for over three hours while he had the meeting. He had asked her to come with him but she turned him down and stayed in the car. She fell asleep and when she opened her eyes again. he was there and smiling at her. crazy man. He made her heart flutter with how he had been looking at her.
