• “Five people are dead?” Kyra gasped as her heart squeezed in dread.
• A cold chill raced down her spine because she knew that it would have been six people with her being the sixth person had she not been pulled out of the road on time by Gerald. She owed him her and her baby’s life.
• “Yes, they were unable to get out of the way quickly enough, they were stepped on by the horses of those mad dogs. There was nothing that could have been done to save them. They died instantly.” Mrs. Agatha’s voice cracked and it looked like she was going to break down.
