Chapter 28

• Alpha Anton peered out of the window in his office as he looked at the overgrown trees. An intense longing came over him, and he suddenly wished that Kyra was by his side. It had only been a few days, and she seemed to have found a way to get under his skin that he wanted to see and always argue with her. He loved the fire that burned in her eyes when she got angry and also the upward tilt of her upper lip that he found to be so adorable. It wasn’t normal one bit.
• "What is it about you that makes me want to be by your side at every moment?" He whispered to himself.
• A knock sounded at the door and he slowly turned towards it. "Who is it?" He managed. He could always tell who was at the door from the scent but he was too distracted by thoughts of Kyra.
