• I chased the scent of a woodsy man as I drifted between sleep and consciousness. My limbs felt like lead and relaxation weighed me down as heat hummed beneath me. Birds chirped close-by and the smell of pine drifted through the room. Sunlight danced over my closed lids. I shook my head as I tried to move away, and my lashes fluttered, catching a flash of blinding brightness before I clenched my eyes shut. Only to fly open as realization dawned on me.
