Chapter 58

• Lenny found herself talking with Kaden casually while the man drove his huge pickup truck somewhere towards north. The vehicle sure was an expensive one. She must be out of her mind for going with him for a spin. She had no idea where they were at the time. She could only guess they were somewhere in San Jose if not Amlan.
• They stopped at a dark place close to the beach. The only lights guiding them were the headlights of the truck. Kaden got out of the vehicle and opened the passenger seat. She stepped down from the truck. Her heels were buried in the sand, so she took them off and put them in the back of the truck.
• Kaden procured a picnic mat and spread it there. “Do you like stargazing? Come, let’s lie down and stargaze,” he invited after turning off the engine.
