- Asher did not want to let her go, but he could do nothing about her decision to go home. Besides, he thought she was right. They couldn’t stay there overnight. Or else, her family would be worried. He did not want her to tell more lies about why she wasn’t able to go home if she’d stay that night.

- About an hour later, he parked the car in front of his girlfriend’s house. She got out of the car, not letting him open the door for her. She smiled and thanked him, avoiding kissing him. Someone might see them, especially that their neighbors were always nosy.
