Chapter 162

• I push the thought away because I don't know what would have happened to my brother being here and it's not worth thinking about, because he's not here and I am. I put the shell away when I hear the sound of footsteps and voices approaching the classroom. My classmates start to enter the classroom, this is my last class and then I can go find Jack, this is my last attempt before directly addressing Jake.
• The class seems like an eternity to me while the teacher explains the importance of concrete in the different primary structures of a building. I'm more distracted than usual so I don't really pay attention to the class, until it finally ends, I gather up my things and walk out of the room without looking at anyone in particular.
• "Evans..." a female voice stops me and I curse to myself when I recognize her.
