Chapter 687 Fresh Start (Part Two)

• Upon ending the call, Chadwick Fullner rose from the sofa. His head throbbed, a clear sign that he had indulged in too much alcohol the night before. Surveying the room, a pungent alcohol odor lingered in the air. The wine bottle he purchased lay on the floor, with less than half of its contents remaining. Evidently, a significant amount had spilled and evaporated, intensifying the room's scent.
• After a moment of contemplation, Chadwick Fullner located a mop and proceeded to clean the room once more. Despite his efforts, the alcohol stench persisted, proving quite unpleasant. Ultimately, he resorted to opening all the windows to allow the smell to dissipate naturally.
• In an effort to rid himself of the alcohol aroma, Chadwick Fullner took an early morning shower. Once he had freshened up, he descended the stairs. Initially planning to drive to the office, he found himself heading straight to the airport instead. His intention was to bid farewell to Samantha Wembley and see her off for the last time.
