Following the dispersal meeting, Chadwick Fullner remained in a state of bewilderment, unable to shake off the shock of the 120,000 sky-high bonus. Being relatively new to the planning industry, he understood that at his level in the Planning Department, a one-time bonus of 120,000, while not insignificant, was certainly not uncommon in any company. Planning played a vital role in a company's performance, and for the Forest Europe International event, spearheaded by the Planning Department, the bonus was merely a small fraction compared to the over 40 million in sales. The real value lay in the foot traffic it generated for the mall, which was truly priceless.
As Chadwick Fullner navigated through the remainder of the workday, he felt as though he was in a dream, and to his surprise, the finance department swiftly disbursed the bonuses. Before the day's end, Chadwick Fullner's bonus had already been deposited into his bank account.
