Chapter 404 Do You Still Love Me? (Part Two)
- As the morning progressed, the hustle and bustle in the store began to quiet down as it approached noon. Chadwick Fullner could clearly see that today had been the most successful day since the store opened. He had estimated that the maximum daily sales for the store could reach up to twenty thousand dollars, but with the addition of new items, the daily sales were now on track to easily exceed twenty-five thousand dollars. Currently, the daily turnover had just surpassed eight thousand, leaving plenty of room for growth. MySpace was not even close to reaching its full potential yet.
- Chadwick Fullner believed that organizing some promotional activities would help boost the store's popularity, leading to an increase in sales. He also recognized the need to stagger the store's business hours. The morning rush was overwhelming, with customers flocking in to buy groceries, but once that peak period passed, the store was left empty. This inefficiency needed to be addressed, ideally with a solution that could tackle both issues simultaneously.
- While pondering these thoughts, Chadwick Fullner headed into the warehouse. He crafted a sign that advertised a special sale on cabbage the following afternoon from 2 to 5, priced at five cents per pound. The promotion was limited to 100 pounds per person, with a maximum of two pounds per customer on a first-come, first-served basis until supplies ran out.
