- The days felt so long, but at least there was a glimmer of hope. Victoria spent almost all her time in the hospital, sitting by Abigail's bedside. The girl's small face was beginning to show a little color, although she still looked pale. Her tiny, weak hands gripped Victoria's fingers, and although the grip was barely perceptible, the small touch gave her extraordinary strength.
- Meanwhile, Logan continued his routine with unwavering determination. Even though he had to walk with a cane, he still went to the office, making sure Dallas Corp was still running after the dark times Grace left. Occasionally, he would send Victoria a message, asking about Abigail's condition or simply reminding her to eat.
