• Victoria sat in front of Chris with mixed feelings. The man's face looked a little tense as he conveyed his decision to transfer Abigail to another hospital.
• Chris stared at her intently before finally saying in a soft voice, “Victoria, are you sure about this decision? I'm not saying another hospital isn't good, but Abigail has been getting intensive care here, and we understand her condition well.”
• Victoria swallowed, trying to keep her tone steady. “I understand, Doc. But the facilities at that hospital are more complete, especially for the long-term care that Abby might need. And... there is someone who fully supports this move.”
