“Uncle Logan,” Abigail's happy voice filled the room. The little girl stood in the doorway with her favorite stuffed unicorn tightly in her arms. Her eyes sparkled, full of excitement, while Victoria followed close behind.
Logan turned around, his expression calmer than usual. Since morning, the man seemed to be in a good mood - something that rarely happened. If Victoria remembered correctly, she had even seen Logan smile a few times today. She didn't know what made him that way, but the house felt different when he wasn't his usual cold self.
“Yes?” said Logan finally, keeping his speech short and to the point.
