• Abigail finally fell asleep after asking for quite a while about what happened today. Her questions, although simple, made Victoria increasingly aware of how fragile their world is today.
• “Why do we have to go to Aunt Grace's house, Mommy?” ‘Why are there weird people there?’ ”Why doesn't Aunt Grace like Uncle Logan?”
