• I brushed my hair back and looked around. The reception area boasted a stylish seating arrangement, with plush velvet couches and contemporary coffee tables. The space was adorned with potted plants and tasteful artwork, while soft background music contributed to the tranquil ambiance. Suddenly, an idea struck me. Maybe I should just call Karious' secretary and let him or her know I'm in the lobby?
