Chapter 21

• After some pleasant conversation with Mrs. Tess, Karious and I made our way up to our respective rooms, walking hand in hand. It really felt comforting to have his presence beside me. It was never in my wildest dreams that this time would come.
• "You can stay in my room if you'd like," Karious suddenly offered, causing me to stop in my tracks.
• I turned to face him, my expression turning slightly stern. "No thanks. I prefer sleeping in my own room. I find it more comfortable."
