• One morning, unable to hold my curiosity any longer, I decided to ask Dad about Veronica's whereabouts. "Dad, what's Veronica up to these days? I haven't seen her around."
• "She must be preparing for her wedding. You know that, don't you? I'm really excited to have a granddaughter. I hope you'll give me many granddaughters too, but make sure to have sons as well for the legacy of our business," my dad replied, his excitement evident.
