• A hurricane built up within me after that confrontation with dad. It's good that I didn't see Veronica, sparing her from any potential outburst that could lead to hair-pulling.
• I wanted to talk to Karious to calm my nerves, but he was kind of busy. We agreed to meet again over the weekend, as we have plans to visit Rious.
• Knowing that I would be alone for the night, I decided to invite my colleagues to join me for dinner and then suggested we continue the evening at a nearby bar. They eagerly agreed to the plan.
