• I lost track of their conversation when my secretary, Anette, approached me on the phone. "Ma'am Sandra," she said, "your father's secretary just called and said you're expected in the president's office right now."
• I nodded and quickly interrupted my colleagues. "Excuse me, everyone, I have to go. I'll be in touch soon."
• As I rushed out of the office and towards the elevator, doubts began to cloud my mind. What was going on while I was away? Why did I have a feeling that something was off here?
