• I calmly nodded and began enjoying my meal. I had chosen the pecan-crusted chicken as my main course, while he opted for the grilled Paillard beef tenderloin. Alongside our main dish, we had vegetable soup and various sides, complemented by a bottle of wine. Water was also available, and a small slice of cake awaited us for dessert.
