Chapter 27 Annie

It has been two weeks since I started to work and boy has it been stressful. Working is so hard and time consuming and I’m glad I have Saturday and Sunday because I think my body will give up on me otherwise. That is why Jamila and I are going to be having a sleepover this Friday night till Sunday evening. I need me some girls time and Jamila and I have bonded through the weeks and she is a fun person to hang around. I really like her, that’s why we will be spending time together and going for girls night out on Saturday then next for a message because I really need it and deserve it plus I can afford to at the moment. I get really nice tips and get paid weekly and I’ve learnt to save my money and barely buy anything if it isn’t going to be what I will be eating which was always from Laura’s kitchen, I’ve grown to like the food here which makes me keep exploring their continental dishes.
I start packing my bag for the sleepover putting in my pajamas, underwear, toiletries and outfits that I will wear. Once I’m done with packing, I take my bag, shut my room door and make my way out only to see James making dinner.
I haven’t been seeing James often and the few times we happen to see we just walk past each other after staring at each other. I know he has something he wants to say to me, I have something to say to him too but I’m not going to be the first one to say it.
