Chapter 23 Annie

• I enter the house and go to my room. I shower and wear my pajamas ready to go to bed but my thoughts weren’t allowing me as I kept on replaying James face especially when he saw me kissing Ronald, my date for the night. I smile in satisfaction recollecting how his expression changed even though he tried to keep a poker face. Now enough about James, let me rewind to the event of the day that took place.
• I just wanted to be stubborn and defiant this night. I wanted to make him jealous and let him see all what he’s missing out on and I think it was successful.
• Getting to the restaurant and ordering my food I realized that after this night, I will have enough for a day’s meal. I want to be able to afford my meals daily so James doesn’t have to do anything for me and I don’t have to see him. Once I get a job we won’t even be seeing each other at all, it’s not like we really see each other that much though. In that moment I wished that I could at least find a handsome stranger to help with the bills and my wish was granted.
