Chapter 51 The Attack On The King

• The King and his entourage were almost at the boundaries of Astoria when their horses suddenly started making noises, giving danger signals. They came to a halt immediately while examining the place.
• They were in a sort of empty desert, just dry sand and hot sun, but up ahead were two large rocks that were questionable. King Damon could smell that something was not right; his wolf senses were tingling as well.
• “What is wrong?” Monica asked as she brought her head out of the wagon door to take a peep. She doubted that they intended to camp here in the desert and why would they want to camp when they had almost arrived at Astoria? Apart from that, it was still early noon.
