Chapter 35 Let's Be Friends, Princess

I stood up from the bed after trying so hard to sleep but was unable to; I opened the room door gently and walked out. I climbed the stairs that lead to the roof and before long; I was at the peak of the building.
As a kid, I used to find comfort in climbing up here, even though my parents had tried to stop me several times. I enjoyed watching the stars and the moon from here. The way each reflected light on the earth’s surface, it was mesmerizing.
As I sat down and looked up to the sky, I remembered all the stories my mom had told her about the moon and the stars, they were all good ones that stuck with me as I grew. I remembered saying that I would climb up to the stars someday and that made me chuckle softly. Little me was quite silly, how am I supposed to climb up to the stars?
