Chapter 48 The Royal Carriage

• Alpha Damon offered me his hand but I rejected it and got onto the wagon myself, he chuckled and closed the door, which I further locked from the inside. From the little hole in the front wood, I saw him climb onto one of the horses and we set off.
• We were being accompanied by four royal guards, one of the guards used to be my dad’s personal guard. They were all riding on horsebacks, two in front of the King who was riding before the horses that were pulling my wagon, and the other two behind.
• That was my third time riding in a royal wagon, it was well decorated and spaced, there was leather padded on the seat to make it comfortable to sit on. The wagon could carry two people but I was glad that the King chose to ride on a horse back, I wouldn’t be comfortable sharing the same space with him.
