• On Monday morning, accompanied by Simon and Henrique, Paulina followed the indicated exercises – almost – to the letter. Almost, because she left Henrique assisting Simon with weights and sneaked away to observe Thiago instructing children of various ages in his kickboxing class. The room where he taught was at the back of the gym, next to another room where a group practiced yoga, both separated from the rest of the space by glass walls and a wooden door.

Paulina noticed that he had a monochromatic tattoo of a canine paw on his right arm, inside the image were the features of a canine face, and underneath were two red ideograms.
• Paulina sat on one of the round sofas placed near the rooms, paying attention to the way Thiago taught the young students.
