Chapter 50 At Last

• Daniel and I stayed together on the floor for what felt like hours before his parents wrapped their arms around us. We all cried and there wasn't a dry eye in the room once my parents were called to the palace. Daniel was reluctant to let me go but I gave his hand a light squeeze to assure him that I was alright and that I wasn't going to go anywhere.
• "WHERE IS MY BEST FRIEND?!" Aline's voice echoes through the whole palace as she runs in to the room. She nearly knocks me over with the force of her hug and we both fall back on to the fancy arm chair. She ugly cries into my shoulder. "Ohmygosh, Annie! I was so worried about you!"
