Chapter 865 Retaliation By The Divorced Heiress
- With a sense of urgency, Ryan said goodbye to the others and ran home. For the last few days, he had been restraining himself, portraying himself to others as a stoic guy who ignored issues of love and devotion. However, when he was alone and in private, he would cover himself with a blanket and go over the personal pictures of him and Carrie again and again. He would occasionally even feel like crying since he missed her so much. Ryan was really irritated that his cherished sweetheart was out of his grasp. He was getting close to weariness as his appetite declined and he had trouble falling asleep. A burning fire had been stoked inside him earlier by Justin and Bella's flirtatious banter.
- It was excruciatingly painful. The sky turned into a painting with many sparkling stars as darkness fell. When Ryan wasn't around, Savrow's fever increased quickly. In anticipation of spring, even the plants in the courtyard started to move. Ryan had been missing for five days in a row with no explanation. Yasmin was concerned, but she dared not speak to him in private. She became so anxious that she lost her appetite and was unable to concentrate on whatever she was doing.
- She focused on two things every day: taking care of her cute little mistress and excitedly anticipating her boss's return. Yasmin was still waiting at the door tonight, still wearing a warm outfit. She was confident that Ryan would soon return triumphant. Maybe tonight. If not now, then at least tomorrow. At that moment, a white sports vehicle that looked like a lightning bolt cutting through the night came up behind them. The automobile stopped in front of her, the sound of its screaming brakes piercing the air. Yasmin was overcome with emotion as she watched Ryan come out of the situation unharmed and walk boldly toward her. Her hands shook when she grabbed on to him hard.
