Chapter 357 Retaliation By The Divorced Heiress

  • Carrie's whole body shot into the man's arms, her little face going pale. With a feeling of chill in his chest, Ryan lowered his eyes. His eyelashes quivered a little. Through his thin black shirt, the dampness from her body melded with his heated skin. He felt his arms automatically tighten around her, and his breathing became labored. "Carrie?" Ryan shouted out to her in a raspy, low voice. Shutting her eyes tightly, Carrie gripped his sleek lapel without uttering a word. Ryan had to bite his lip to keep from laughing. Gently, he asked, "Did I hurt you?" She shook her head, pressing her forehead against his chest. His heart began to fill with sympathy.
  • The moment Ryan made his dramatic entrance, both of the security guards stood up. They welcomed Mr. Hoffman with a hasty bow of respect. "Good evening!" "What was that meant to mean?" With Carrie in his arms, Ryan asked in a sluggish manner. "Oh, it's nothing, just a small problem." The security guard, who had before treated Carrie rudely, now grinned broadly. This young woman insisted on going inside even though she wasn't invited since she is a fan of Ms. Ada Wang. She refused to listen to our attempts to convince her, thus "You just used force, then?" Ryan grimaced. “Well, not exactly. We were only doing our job by keeping her out.” The bodyguard sidestepped the subject, refusing to acknowledge that they had mistreated a little child.
  • "Would you like me to help you settle the score?" Ryan asked Carrie, grinning, before whispering quietly in her ear. Carrie nodded a little but immediately shook her head, still not daring to look at Ryan. With a small smile on his face, Ryan reached into his wine-red velvet suit and took out his phone to call Justin. "Hey Justin, may I handle your staff?" When they heard that, the two bodyguards looked at each other, bewildered. Ryan stroked Carrie's moist hair tenderly as he slowly raised his hand to the back of her neck. Alright, I'll take care of it then. Ryan hung up the phone, helped Carrie to her feet, and held up his hand to indicate forward.
