Chapter 8 Retaliation By The Divorced Heiress
- "Oh no! Rose, are you okay? Shannon wanted to laugh, even though she was horrified. When Justin realized this, he rushed to lift Rosalind off the ground, but she resisted. Rosalind sobbed. "It hurts, Justin. Are you going to carry me? Her fall had left her knees numb. Bella looked at the woman on the floor, her arms crossed. Rosalind behaved like a complete phony in front of Justin. "Ms. Brown shoved me, Justin!" Rosalind cowered down in Justin's hug while glancing menacingly at Bella.
- "What did you say, Rose?" Justin was taken aback. "Are you certain I shoved you?" Bella grinned. She remained calm. Rather, she was relishing Rosalind's performance. "Why would I fall right out of nowhere?" Rosalind's normally kind voice became more agitated. That's not entirely unfeasible. You appear so frail, after all, that a wind gust may easily topple you. "How dare you make fun of me?" Rosalind's cheeks flushed red with rage. "Your hand was definitely pushing me from behind. Why won't you acknowledge it?" Ms. Gold, quit accusing me; there are security cameras all over the place."
- Bella's once-bright and clear eyes suddenly became darker. She had a formidable appearance. "As soon as I have the evidence, I can sue you for defamation.” Justin blinks, startled. He had the impression that Anna had changed entirely. She was no longer the uninteresting, straightforward, and modest woman who lived alone in a vacant home. Rosalind quickly turned to Shannon for assistance, clearly terrified by Bella. "Oh, it's all just a miscommunication!" Shannon gave a conciliatory grin as she cast a quick glance at the security camera mounted above her head. Rose must have slipped by mistake since she failed to maintain her balance. She most likely ran into Anna by chance and assumed that Anna had shoved her. Everybody is misinformed!”
