Chapter 390 Retaliation By The Divorced Heiress
- "What the hell is that bastard doing out there?" Bella asked herself. Is he doing this in an attempt to win people over? Does he really believe I'll fall for such a disgusting ruse? Bella felt anger burning in her heart. After walking two steps, she turned around and wanted to return to her room. The late-fall rain was not the same as the summer rain. In the fall, Savrow experiences nighttime lows of less than freezing. Justin was dressed thinly and had been standing outside for three or four hours. Bella wondered, "What if he refuses to go?" Would I not have to tell the police what happened if he died of frostbite at my doorstep? How annoying!
- Bella swiftly walked back to her room, grabbed her phone, and gave Justin a call while she was thinking about this. Justin turned off his phone as a result. Bella was unable to comprehend Justin's intentions. Bella was curious but did not feel sympathy for Justin's self-torture. So she hurried to the door, unlocked it, and emerged carrying a large black umbrella. Justin felt he was having hallucinations from standing in the chilly rain for so long until he saw Bella's slim and thin figure approaching him. It was only when Bella was standing directly in front of Justin that he recognized she was real. He froze for the first time. His eyes grew wide with delight, and a warmth shot through his heart.
- How in the world are you attempting this? Get killed for yourself? Bella chastised him with a stern tone in her voice. "Are you cold, wearing this outfit?" Justin maintained his indifferent, icy appearance. He undid the suit jacket's middle button, causing his hands to shake a little. Embarrassed, he froze, realizing that his jacket was already soaked through and that he should take it off and put it on for her. "You turned off your phone? Why?" Bella questioned, enraged. With the candor of a foolish husband receiving a reprimand from his spouse, Justin stated, "The battery died." Her fierceness delighted him, for some reason. He had a masochistic streak.
