Chapter 458 Retaliation By The Divorced Heiress
- Things were crazy over at the Salvadors’. Meanwhile, Bella loved soaking in the sunlight while swinging at Yara Park. She would be the only person using the swing. The swing was custom built for her mother by her father, Wyatt. Her mother was rumored to love a good swing with her feet exposed to the breeze. Sometimes, in the soft afternoon light, she would lie down to snooze. Yara would always be prodded on the swing by Wyatt. Their beautiful shadows danced back and forth in the sunshine. Sometimes he would quietly curl up with her and take in the rolling clouds and blossoming flowers.
- Afterwards, Yara died. Nevertheless, Wyatt continued to instruct the domestic helpers to clean the swing each day. It was as if Yara was out on a trip and would be returning after she had had enough pleasure. “Ms. Bella, Ada has expressed tremendous interest in adopting our service again. She wants to formally apologize to you and extend an invitation to supper. Bella was pushed on the swing by Steven. She called me because she was unable to reach you. She has been calling me nonstop for the past two days. "This is an excellent chance for you to work on your foreign language skills."
- Bella took another mouthful of the apple and chomped. "You're ridiculing me once more." Steven's eyes landed on her quivering lips, and he made a wry look. The apple in her palm was not quite as alluring as her large, sensual lips. He took a deep swallow. "Even though you didn't want to, you would have accepted her invitation if it had happened in the past out of consideration for the hotel." Bella drummed her toes on the floor and ate her apple. But now that I'm Alexa, I'm her hero. I can't just say yes to her invitation at once.
