Chapter 797 Retaliation By The Divorced Heiress
- Drew knitted his brows. He smashed the glass with his own hands in a fit of rage. Asher winced, automatically stepping aside to keep the glass fragments from falling in his direction. "Even if I don't kill Christopher, I'll make sure he can't have children if Wyatt dares to let Bella marry into the Iverson family!" The door opened at that very moment. Both of them were startled when Arnold strode in carrying a serving dish. "Mr. Larson, we were having a talk. As a politeness, shouldn't you have knocked? There was no trace of animosity on Asher's face, only a sense of helplessness.
- "Don't you see that my hands are busy?" Arnold's eyes narrowed, and he snapped back. With a frustrated sigh, he walked over and set the tray on the coffee table. “I pushed the door open with my butt, cousin,” he continued sarcastically. Arnold mockingly spoke to Asher. "I can go out and knock again if you feel that I'm being rude." Pulling out a cigarette and putting it between his lips, Drew grinned as he looked amusedly at Arnold from head to toe. "Do you require anything?" Asher dropped his eyes and asked, "I was asked to bring some homemade chicken soup to you two by my aunt." Arnold purposefully remained inactive in order to irritate Asher.
- "Soup doesn't appeal to me. Are you able to get a drink from the hallway? Drew shook the cigarette between his lips up and down while he relaxedly crossed his legs on the edge of the coffee table and spoke the words, "Preferably chilled." Have a light? Assist me. “You!” snapped Arnold. You're going too far with it! He thought Drew was pushing his luck, and his cheeks flushed with rage. Because of Drew's attitude, he wished he could pour the boiling chicken soup over his head. Was Drew truly under the impression that he could treat Arnold like a servant? "Stop playing around, Drew." Arnold found Asher's rich, compelling voice enticing, and he eventually spoke quietly after remaining mute.
