Chapter 83 Retaliation By The Divorced Heiress

  • Asher, Axel, and Bella departed Savrow that evening and headed back to Hatchbay. It wasn't far between the two cities. We were on the freeway for little over two hours. Savrow served as the nation's economic hub, offering a wealth of resources and numerous opportunities for growth. Everybody desired a portion of this territory. But Hatchbay was no ordinary place. For hundreds of years, Hatchbay was solely owned by the Thompson family. At least one-third of Hatchbay's population was employed by the Thompson family. Wyatt Thompson was hence referred to as Hatchbay's "Uncrowned Emperor."
  • In the absence of the Thompson, Hatchbay would be just another average, secondary city. Additionally, its economy could not grow as quickly. The old Meteor Atelier was reached by the Thompson siblings. "Oh! Mrs. Bella! How recently did you return? An delighted old man in his sixties came to greet them at the door. He worked as Tony, the manager of Meteor Atelier. Tony was Wyatt's nanny's youngest son. He was inseparable from Wyatt because they were so close and spent so much time playing together as children.
  • Tony had no high hopes for himself. Wyatt's driver purchased three homes in Savrow merely by keeping an ear on Wyatt's daily calls. But Tony had no interest in a career in investing. He lived alone in the Meteor Atelier since he had no desire to be married or have kids. Rather, he enjoyed his time in nature and worked with jadeite stones all of the time. "How are you doing, Uncle Tony? When it rains, do your legs still hurt? Has your asthma improved? How is the medication that I asked Steve to deliver you doing so some time ago? Bella held Tony's arm tenderly, her sparkling eyes forming little crescents.
