Chapter 754 Retaliation By The Divorced Heiress

  • "Justin's lifelong atonement is worth the three years of Bella's loss." Lan's heart pounded as he remembered Bella's pathetic and defenseless life at the Salvador home. No matter what, she had always been a staunch supporter of Justin. He couldn't resist softly crying. Bella was equally devastated, but Justin had endured too much. Lan stayed up on the bedroom sofa without changing since he was worried that Justin could need help throughout the night and couldn't call for help. His body clock woke him up the following morning. His first reaction upon opening his eyes was to gaze in Justin's direction.
  • He was shocked to see the bed unoccupied. There was no sign of Justin. “Mr. Salvador,” I said. Like a frightened fish, Lan sprang out of his seat in a panic. He began anxiously looking for Justin in the room. The bathroom door suddenly sprang open. Justin was standing there looking dapper in a three-piece suit and a carefully chosen assortment of accessories, including a tie, tie pin, and wristwatch. Lan nearly forgot how frail Justin had looked the previous evening because of his calm attitude, which exhibited no signs of sickness.
  • "Does something appear on my face?" With a somewhat raspy voice, Justin asked while adjusting his sleeve. It was hardly perceptible, yet his breath still felt a bit shallow. "Why are you awake, Mr. Salvador? You must get more sleep! Lan conveyed his profound concern over his health. "Today in the workplace, we have a crucial strategic meeting. I have to go to it," Justin said, maintaining his customary coolness. "Gosh. I completely forgot about it! After giving him a frustrated slap on the forehead, Lan gave him some gentle advice. You're still not feeling well, Mr. Salvador. Why don't we put your recuperation first and forego today's meeting?
