Chapter 23

• The content of the text couldn’t be real. It had to be fake. Nothing that has happened since she woke up from her nightmare made any sense. First, it was the prime minister and then it was Mary, and now, Nick just sent an early thirth birthday party invitation to her. two months before his birthday. The only problem was Nick turned thirty over a year ago.
• “What the fuck is going on?”
• Karina let out. it couldn’t be that she went back to the past. That would only mean that everything that happened in her dreams was real. No, it couldn’t be real. The only other explanation was that she fell asleep and had been dreaming about the whole thing. The prime minister coming to their house and even Mary quitting was all a dream. Even the engagement and the wedding had to all be a dream for it all to make sense.
