Karina sat there on the floor in her wedding dress for god knows how long. She cried until there were no more tears for her to cry. She didn’t need to turn on her phone to know what would be going on everywhere. The news. the internet. Everyone was going to be talking about the wedding that failed to happen and people would either be sympathizing with her or wondering what she did to make Nick not show up at the wedding. If only they knew what he did to her.
How he ruined her perfect fairy tale wedding and, in the process ruined her life too. She looked forward to this day so much that it killed her inside knowing that the day she looked forward to the most in all her twenty-seven years of living, turned out to be the worst day of her life. It was just so hard to take in. hard.
When Karina finally got the courage to get up from where she sat on the floor. Her eyes went to the mirror and she let out an audible sob when she saw how pitiful she looked just standing there in a wedding dress with her make-up washed up from all the crying. She wasn’t even crying because Nick cheated.
