Chapter 310
- When Pedro entered the dimly lit room where Morgan and his wife, Casey, were held captive, he found them bound and weary. Casey sat in a corner, quietly sobbing, while Morgan stared blankly at the wall, lost in thought.
- Pedro leaned casually against the doorframe, arms crossed and a smug grin stretching across his face. His mood was unusually light, as though he were savoring every moment of their misery. "How are you holding up, Mr. Morgan?" he asked mockingly. "Enjoying your stay?"
- Casey flinched at his voice, fear radiating from her trembling form. Instinctively, she tried to inch closer to her husband despite the chains restricting her movement. Morgan, however, remained stoic, his expression hardened by defiance. He showed no fear of Pedro; his concern was solely for his wife and daughter.
