• ETHAN'S POV
• When I arrived at Lily's apartment, I carefully searched her bag for the keys, doing my best not to wake her. After unlocking the door, I carried her inside and made my way to the bedroom.
• In my arms, she looked peaceful, her face nestled against my chest as if this was where she belonged. I hesitated for a moment, reluctant to let her go. But eventually, I gently placed her on the bed, taking care to cover her properly with the duvet.
