• Leo’s POV
• I rang for Jenny first, asking in my most polite tone if she had seen Alessia anywhere. She replied in the negative, sounding like it was going to be hell if her answer had been any different. Jenny didn’t need to say more because I knew the kind of person Alessia was.
• She only acted differently when I was around because, for some weird reason, she thought that would make me look at her differently. I wished she could see that my disposition wouldn’t change a hundred years from now.
