• Leo was right. The view from the balcony was amazing. The minute the doctor told me I was free to move around, I barely heard his other instruction of keeping things slow and light as my mind squealed in excitement.
• Since Leo told me about the view, I had been dying to see it even though I had told him the exact opposite. I didn’t know what I was thinking, but then I held on to the stupid belief that he would offer to watch the waterfall with me.
