• Lila’s POV
• The party was in full swing around us, but Leo made no attempt at joining in. When he said he had the perfect remedy for my boredom, the first thing that came to my mind was a dance. But I didn’t think it was the best thing to dance with my husband’s best friend, even though the so-called husband was probably piping the goldilocks.
• Leo walked to the end of the room and took a sharp turn down the hallway, proving my first assumption wrong. I followed him closely, the music drowning behind us. He walked fast, but not so fast that I couldn’t catch up with him.
