Chapter 29
- Armani sat down on a chair behind a desk in the hideout as Stephan poured out to the table a stark of dilapidated papers and a brown wallet on his table. Stephan opened the wallet bringing out three passports. A picture of an elderly woman in her late eighties. The skin around her eyes were all wrinkled up. Her eyes were almost squinted close as if the flashes from the camera affected her eyes. She looked like she was tired of living . Her gray hair was enough evidence to prove that she was aged and lived a life of abject poverty..
- “This appears to be his grandmother”. Stephan said after examining the picture for a while. This woman definitely had to be his grandmother.
- Stephan placed the second picture on the table, a slender woman in her mid sixties came into view. Her scorched honey skin and boney face added in making her pretty. The smile she wore as the picture was taken didn’t reach her heart. Her fake smile betrayed it all. She appeared to be sad and lost in thoughts as the picture was taken. The lady in the picture and the assassin had striking resemblance to each other.
