• As I slowly drifted into consciousness, I became aware of a small weight shifting back and forth on my chest. Opening my eyes, I saw little Karen crawling over me, as her little hands reached out and tugged on my hair.
• "Good morning, sweetie," I said with a yawn, pulling her closer to me. I didn't realise how much I missed Karen while I was away until now.
• Karen seems to sense my warmth and affection, as she nuzzled her head against my neck, and I felt a surge of love for washes over her.
